Leachate treatment

The disc tube module system has been successfully in use since 1985 as a membrane filtration in sea water desalination and since 1987 for leachate treatment.

The experience is based on more than 160 reverse osmosis leachate plants with different water qualities and over 1.600 plants for seawater desalination. These plants are located internationally.

The various experiences from sea water desalination with disc tube module technique can be transfered directly to leachate treatment. The equipment of such plants has to provide especially high corrosion stability as well as it has to be flexible enough to cope with the changing quality of the raw water containing highly colloidal substances.
